overview | chloroalkyl sulfonyl chloride, as an important pharmaceutical intermediate, is used for esterification modification of medicines and pesticides. it has been patented abroad and has not been reported in relevant literature at home. It is reported in the literature that chloromethyl sulfonyl chloride is synthesized from 1,3,5-trithiacyclohexane. The raw materials of this method are expensive and difficult to obtain. And the synthesis process line in the synthesis process will produce a double chloromethyl ester (BCM) substance, the substance is a carcinogen, by Europe, America and Japan and other countries government strictly prohibited. Chloromethyl sulfonyl chloride is prepared from sodium sulfite and triphosgene. The raw material used in the synthesis process is toxic, but the post-treatment is complex, the cost is high, and the product purity is low. High energy consumption and many wastes have a great impact on the environment and are not conducive to industrial production. |
preparation | chloromethyl sulfonyl chloride The synthesis is as follows: add Na2SO3252g, 500g of water, 504g of dichloromethane and 1.25g of decyltrimethylammonium chloride to a 2000ml reactor with a pressure and temperature detection device. when the temperature is raised to 0.2MPa in the reactor, the pressure is maintained for 3hr, the reaction is stopped, the temperature is lowered, the pressure is removed, and the reaction water and unreacted solvent are distilled, drying, the product I260g. Yield: 95%. The synthesized product I was added to a 2000ml reaction bottle with thermometer, drying and distillation device, 260g of methanol and 1.04g of triethylamine were added, the temperature was slowly raised to T = 40 ℃, the temperature was maintained, 13g of chlorine was introduced within 30min, the heat preservation reaction was 3.5hr, and the reaction was ended. Distillation removes solvent. The crude product was distilled at a temperature T = 70-80 ℃ and a vacuum degree of 0.08-0.1MPa to obtain 240g of the product. 85% yield. |
